Project Kidz Pak -- Project Kidz Pak is collecting items for children age 3 to 12 years old who have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Local organizers for this project are Spencer Towbin (age 10), Morgan Sanborn (10), Rachael Barrett (11) and Sarah Patron (11).
Suggested items for donation: small travel games, small puzzles, books, magazines, notepads, crayons, coloring books, stuffed animals, travel bags. The goal is to send at least 1,000 packages.
Local drop off stations are Wesco and The Brooklyn Exponent. If you have questions or other donation suggestions call 517-544-0611.
